These classic tablecoverings in the traditional Homespun or Tavern Check pattern feature a simple beauty which stems from their heritage - the Appalachian Mountain homes of early America.
Loomed with the finest USA grown cotton and made in the mountains of Vermont, each tablecloth, napkin and placemat is individually cut and hand fringed, resulting in a top quality tablecovering suitable for any decor or occasion.
Machine wash in cold water, line dry.
VERY IMPORTANT: Because of the natural fiber and weave, this item will shrink about 6% with a cold water wash and line dry. With machine drying (lowest dryer setting and cold water wash), expect about 12% shrinkage. Please keep this in mind when determining which size to order. If you plan to machine dry, we strongly recommend ordering the next larger size or a custom size.
Custom sizes are available in any length, maximum width is 70 inches. We have included some of the more common custom sizes in our size selections, but please contact us if you need a size that's not included. If you need help, please contact us and we will be glad to help you determine proper sizing and answer any questions. PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE BE SURE TO ORDER THE CORRECT SIZING FOR CUSTOM ORDERS--CUSTOM SIZES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURNS.
Can't decide which color to choose? We also offer fabric swatches (in fact, we recommend them!). If you'd like to order swatches, just send us your mailing address and a list of the colors you'd like to see. There is no charge for swatches.
NOTE: This item is sometimes shipped directly from the manufacturer in Vermont. Such orders are shipped within 1-2 business days, Monday through Thursday. (Orders placed Thursday through Sunday are typically shipped on Monday.)

I have had a few of these tablecloths over the years. The colors do not fade and they last a long time. I just bought this last one for my daughter.

I purchased my first Mountain Weave tablecloth about 20 years ago and it still looks as good as new. Now I have two tables and the first thing I thought of was to get another MW tablecloth. I have it on the table and just love it.

Initially I was disappointed in the thinness of the Mountain Weave tablecloth compared to the thickness of old ones I have. Mountain Laurel Mercantile advised me that washing it would make it a tighter weave. I have done this and will keep it, but wish a thicker material would come back. If you allow for 12% shrinkage, then you can wash and remove it from dryer when slightly damp without further worries.

I have just purchased my second red and white tablecloth to replace the ones that I have had for over 10 or 12 years and I am so pleased with them. I have contacted your staff and they are always so helpful with my questions and I have your company saved as a Favorite because I am sure I will be contacting your company again. You have beautiful products. Thank you

Over a span of 30 years I have purchased these tablecloths and have a collection of most every color. I use them on a kitchen table & a bigger dining room table. They are easy-care & to launder. I always get a bigger size to allow for shrinkage, because I put them in the dryer, then back on the table (unless I am changing colors for seasons or holidays. Love these tablecloths.

I've been looking everywhere for a tablecloth like this one. I need something that looks great and has low maintainence and this one is it! I'll be back for another one :)

I love my new tablecloth. I have been using this weave cloth for over 40 years and I love the way they look and launder. Also, no ironing! They wear for years and always look good. I have several in various colors and use them all the time.

I have been using the weaved tablecloths for over 30 years and they do last forever. the two that I have are finally loosing their luster,so time for two new ones. I have oredered one and knew I would be pleased, and I am. They never show stains and wash and line dry beautifully. I was so glad to find Mountain Laurel Mercantile as they do not sell them any longer in stores. Thank you for carrying them.

This is my second Mountain Weavers tablecloth. These are durable, functional, easy care AND beautiful everyday tablecloths. I expect to hand them down to my daughter some day.
